【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingtheaveragedepthofpavementsurfacemacrotexturebycarefulapplicationofaknownvolumeofmaterialonthesurfaceandsubsequentmeasurementofthetotalareacovered.Thetechniqueisdesignedtoprovideanaveragedepthvalueofonlythepavementmacrotextureandisconsideredinsensitivetopavementmicrotexturecharacteristics.Thistestmethodissuitableforfieldteststodeterminetheaveragemacrotexturedepthofapavementsurface.Whenusedinconjunctionwithotherphysicaltests,themacrotexturedepthvaluesderivedfromthistestmethodcanbeusedtodeterminethepavementskidresistancecapability,noisecharacteristicsandthesuitabilityofpavingmaterialsorfinishingtechniques.Whenusedwithothertests,careshouldbetakenthatalltestsareappliedatthesamelocation.
