【摘要】:1.1Thisguidecoversdirectionsfortheinstallationofgeosyntheticclayliners(GCLs)underfieldconditionstypicallypresentinenvironmentalliningapplications.1.2Thisguidecontainsgeneralinstallationguidelines.Itisnotintendedtoreplaceproject-specificinstallationrequirementsasfoundinthecontractdrawingsorspecifications.Intheeventofaconflict,therequirementoftheprojectspecificationswillsupersedetherequirementsofthisguide.1.3Thisguidedoesnotpurporttoestablishspecificprocedureforallclimatic,geographical,hydraulic,ortopographicalconditionsthatmayexistatasite.AppropriateinstallationproceduresunderatypicalfieldconditionsshouldbemodifiedasnecessarytomaintaintheintegrityoftheGCLandadjacentliningsystemcomponents.1.4DifferentGCLshavedifferentmaterialsofconstructionwithdifferentphysicalproperties.Theprocedurescontainedinthisguide,therefore,maynotbeuniversallyapplicabletoallGCLsunderallfieldconditions.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
