【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthebasicrequirementsforacorrosion-resistantcoatingconsistingofaninorganicaluminumparticle-filledbasecoatandanorganicorinorganictopcoat,dependingonthespecificrequirements.1.2Thecoatingmaybespecifiedwithbasecoatonly,orwiththetopcoatedwithcompatibleorganicpolymerorinorganictopcoats,dependingonthespecificrequirements.1.3Thebasecoatisawater-dilutableslurrycontainingaluminumparticlesdispersedinaliquidbinderofchromate/phosphatecompounds.1.4Theorganictopcoatsconsistofpolymerresinsanddispersedpigmentsandareforservicewheretemperaturesdonotexceed230C(450F).1.5Theinorganictopcoatsconsistofceramicoxidepigmentsdispersedinaliquidbinderofchromate/phosphatecompoundsandareforservicewheretemperaturesdonotexceed645C(1200F).1.6Thesecoatingsareappliedbyconventionaldip/spin,dip/drain,orspraymethods.1.7Thecoatingprocessdoesnotnormallyinducehydrogenembrittlement,providedthatthepartstobecoatedhavenotbeensubjectedtoanacidcleanerorpretreatment(seeNote1).Note18212Althoughthiscoatingmaterialcontainswater,ithasarelativelylowsusceptibilitytoinducinghydrogenembrittlementinsteelpartsoftensilestrengthsequaltoorgreaterthan1000MPa(approximatelyRC31).Normalprecautionsforpreparing,descaling,andcleaningsteelsofthesetensilestrengthsmustbeobserved.Aninitialstressrelieftreatmentshouldbeconsideredpriortoanychemicaltreatmentorcleaningoperation.Acidsorothertreatmentsthatevolvehydrogenshouldbeavoided.Mechanicalcleaningmethodsmaybeconsidered.Somesteelsaremoresusceptibletohydrogenembrittlementthanothersandmayalsorequirehydrogenembrittlementreliefbakingaftercleaningbutbeforecoating.Sincenoprocesscancompletelyguaranteefreedomfromembrittlement,carefulconsiderationmustbegiventotheentirecoatingprocessandthespecificsteelalloyemployed.1.8Thecoatingsystemsdefinedbythisspecificationcanbeappliedtoferrousalloysteels,aluminum,andferriticandausteniticstainlesssteels.1.9ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodsportion,Section6,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
