【摘要】:ThisServiceDefinitiondefinesACSEservicesforapplication-associationcontrolinanopensystemsinterconnectionenvironment.ACSEsupportstwomodesofcommunicationservice:connection-orientedandconnectionless.TheACSEconnection-orientedserviceisprovidedbytheuseoftheconnection-orientedACSEprotocol(seeITü-TRec.X.227IISOAEC8650-1)inconjunctionwiththeconnection-orientedpresentation-service(seeITü-TRec.X.216IISOiEC8822).TheACSEconnection-orientedserviceassumesasaminimumtheuseofthepresentation-serviceconnection-orientedKernelfunctionalunit.TheACSEconnectionlessservice(A-UNIT-DATA)isprovidedbytheuseoftheconnectionlessACSEprotocol(seeITU-TRec.X.237IISO/IEC10035-1)inconjunctionwiththeconnectionlesspresentation-service(P-UNT-DATA).ThreefunctionalunitsaredefinedintheACSE.ThemandatoryKernelfunctionalunitisusedtoestablishandreleaseapplication-associations.TheACSEincludestwooptionalfunctionalunits.TheoptionalAuthenticationfunctionalunitsupportstheexchangeofinformationinsupportofauthenticationduringassociationestablishment.Itprovidesadditionalfacilitiesforexchanginginformationinsupportofauthenticationduringassociationestablishmentwithoutaddingservices.TheACSEauthenticationfacilitiesmaybeusedtosupportalimitedclassofauthenticationmethods.Thesecondoptionalfunctionalunitsupportsthenegotiationofapplicationcontextduringassociationestablishment.TheACSEservicesapplytoawiderangeofapplication-processcommunications.ThisServiceDefinitiondoesnotspecifyindividualimplementationsorproducts,nordoesitconstraintheimplementationofentitiesandinterfaceswithinacomputersystem.NorequirementismadeforconformancetothisServiceDefinition.
